Students will gain an appreciation of the world around them and develop their enquiry, communication and interpretation skills, as well as the use of historical terminology and analytical skills. Topics include Modern Britain and the development of modern Russia, along with a piece of coursework on the 17th Century. Engaging in reading, writing and revision outside of lessons are prerequisites for the course.
This course is open to students who have achieved a grade 6 in GCSE History and English Language or Literature.
