By the end of the course, you will be familiar with a broad range of fundamental chemistry concepts, from mechanistic studies of aromatic reactions to electrochemistry. What careers and university courses could this course lead me to? Within science, the study of chemistry can lead to careers as chemists and chemical engineers of all kinds. These professionals underpin industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, food and drink, agriculture and conservation. Chemistry A Level is an essential requirement for a career in medicine, dentistry and veterinary sciences and is excellent preparation for careers in scientific research as well as analytical careers such as banking, business, finance and economics. What kind of students is this course suitable for? Students often study Chemistry with other sciences. It is often called the central science because it relates closely with both Biology and Physics.
