The OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Introductory Diploma is designed for learners studying to prepare for employment in the IT sector. Especially Those who want to progress into ITrelated apprenticeships and gain a Level 3 qualification to support further study in Further Education (FE) or to progress to Higher Education (HE) in IT. Learners could progress onto a Level 4 apprenticeship such as Network Engineer or Software Developer or into employment in the IT sector in areas such as technical support, digital technologies, application development or data analysis.
Minimum of Grade 4s in GCSE Computer Science or ICT and a Grade 4 in English Language and Mathematics. Preferably all students will have some ICT background at Key Stage 4.
