Course summary

On this two-year course you will gain a Level 3 technical qualification in Health. The programme will give you the opportunity to develop the theoretical knowledge that employers within the health industry are looking for, alongside gaining work experience with credible employers – in which you will develop the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to work successfully in this industry and be work-ready at the end of the course. There are a number of pathways you can take including Adult Nursing, Midwifery (NEW for 2024) and or our Mental Health pathway, where you will work with Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust, with a guaranteed offer of employment and a pathway to study a Nursing Degree Apprenticeship with the NHS after your T Level is completed. As a T Level Health student, you may have the opportunity to join the Health Cadets Programme with the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT). This competitive programme includes extensive work experience at all ELHT establishments, alongside practical career related training. The Cadets is a challenging yet rewarding programme, providing excellent routes into professional training for a wide range of careers. During the programme you will undertake the Skills for Care Certificate which is a recognised qualification for employment in the sector.

Entry requirements

You will need to have achieved at least 5 GCSE passes at Grade 5 or above to enroll.
