Physics is the study of the world around us and the fundamental laws that govern it, from the sub-atomic world of quantum physics to the furthest reaches of the Universe. You will study the theory in context: calculations involving real-life situations, modelling of abstract concepts and discussion of some of the biggest questions in science.
Grade 6, 6 in Combined Science. If studying separate sciences then students must have grade 6 in at least two sciences including Physics. Students must also have grade 6 in Mathematics and grade 4 in English Language.
3 x 2-hour exams at the end of Year 13, plus a minimum of 12 required practicals. Successful completion will gain students a practical endorsement.
