A Level PE provides an opportunity to study human movement, mechanics, performance, and behavior in physical education, sport, and recreation. This is a 2-year linear course with an A Level qualification awarded by OCR at the end of the two years.
Generally, students may be admitted providing they achieve at least Grade 4 in Mathematics and English Language and achieve a minimum of Grade 5 at GCSE in four subjects, only GCSE will be accepted, not other vocational equivalents. The course is split into 70% examination (3 papers), and 30% non-examined assessment (NEA).
