Our media studies course offers students the chance to work with industry standard technology and investigate the fastest growing job sector in the world. The course allows students to examine media specific skills such as sound, lighting and editing whilst completing practical products to a professional standard with students consistently achieving outstanding results. The course provides students with the perfect opportunity to carry on their media studies onto degree level. The course is designed to examine media specific skills which suits university courses that now focus on particular media skills such as digital editing, rather than media studies as a whole. Many of our previous students have enjoyed furthering their skills through studying marketing and film at university.
To undertake vocational courses you will require a minimum of five GCSEs in five separate subjects, graded a D or above. Each BTEC qualification will count as one subject. A minimum of grade 4 is required in both English and Mathematics.
