Course summary

This is the study of the diverse ways in which the English Language is structured and used. You will investigate how the language we use is affected by our power, gender, class, accent, dialect, the social groups we belong to and the work we do. You will get the chance to develop your creative writing skills, your independent research skills and you will explore how children learn to speak and write!
