Component 1: Drama and theatre. The study of two set texts and a live theatre production. Written exam 40%. Component 2: Creating original drama. Devised performance and working notebook 30%. Component 3: Making theatre. Practical exploration of three extracts each taken from a different play. Extract 3 is performed by an external examiner. A reflective report analyzing and evaluating theatrical interpretation is also submitted. 30%.
