Our general entry requirements are that you will need a minimum of five Grade 5s or above in your GCSEs to study A-Levels including Maths & English. To Study A Level History at Meden, you will need to achieve a grade 6 at GCSE History.
80% Examination in 2 exams Section 1 – Evaluating historical extracts. 1 compulsory question linked to 3 historical extracts (30 marks) Section 2 – Essay writing. 2 questions out of a choice of 3. This shows you can use your historical knowledge to make judgments and explore concepts such as change and continuity. (25 marks) 20% Coursework
