Year 12: - Quadratics, Co-ordinate geometry, Surds, Indices, Inequalities - Curve sketching, Binomial expansion, Polynomials - Trigonometry - Calculus and its Applications - Exponentials and Logarithms, Proof - Kinematics, forces, dynamics, and motion - Sampling, probability, binomial distribution, hypothesis testing Year 13: - Functions, modulus, algebraic fractions, partial fractions, further proof - Sequences and series - Further Trigonometry - Further calculus and its applications Numerical methods - Statics, moments, 3D vectors - Conditional probability, normal distribution, testing correlation
To undertake advanced level courses you will require a minimum of five GCSEs in five separate subjects, at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics, both at least a minimum of grade 4. BTEC qualifications will count as one subject and must be graded a Distinction or above. Math GCSE grade B or grade 6 is required.
