Students considering this course should successfully complete an Art and Design based course with at least a Grade 6 or above at GCSE.
Personal Investigation: 60% of final A-Level and course work based. Controlled Test: 40% of final A-Level. Both components are centre-assessed and externally moderated. As part of this assessment candidates need to demonstrate that they can: • Sustain and fully explore a study from initial stimulus to final realisation. • Work independently both in studio and private study time. • Develop knowledge and understanding of Art Craft and Design. • Relate theoretical and contextual studies to their practical experience.
