Grade 6 in GCSE History and grade 6 in GCSE English Language or Literature.

How you'll be assessed

Components 2E and 1H are assessed in two 2½ hour exams – 40% per component. Coursework is an extended essay, of up to 4,500 words, based on personal research into a choice of approved topics. – 20%.
