Teaching in Dance is divided into three main areas: - Performance - Choreography - Appreciation Whilst studying on this course students will be encouraged to develop their creative and intellectual capacity whilst receiving training on technique and the health and safety of the dancer. They will begin to develop critical skills for the analysis of choreography and performance within their own work and in professional repertoire.
Minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 5 including Dance and English.
Component 1: Performance and Choreography- Practical Exam. External assessment of three dances.(50%) Component 2: Critical Appreciation- Written Exam. 2 hours 30 minutes (50%)
