You will learn how to understand, read, speak and write French at a higher level and even begin to read more complex French texts such as French Literature. You will learn about French social issues and trends, political and artistic culture, as well as, undertake an individual research project. In the individual research project, you will identify a subject or a key question which is of interest to you and which relates to a country or countries where French is spoken. You will then select relevant information in French from a range of sources including the internet. The aim of the research project is to develop research skills. You will demonstrate your ability to initiate and conduct individual research by analysing and summarising your findings, in order to present and discuss them in the speaking assessment.
