
The A Level Computer Science course is designed to appeal to students who are simply curious about the inner workings and applications of computers, as well as to those students who wish to pursue a career in Computing. The emphasis of the course is on the inner workings of a computer and the application of computers to solving realistic problems. The course aims to develop an understanding of the main principles of solving problems using computers. The course is split into three units. - Computing Systems (01) - Algorithms and problem solving (02) - Programming Project (03)

Computing Systems (01) Exam is 2 hours 30mins worth 40% Algorithms and problem solving (02) Exam is 2 hours 30mins worth 40% Programming Project (03) Coursework is worth 20%
