This AGCE course will teach students exciting topics to understand the nature of physical and human geography whilst unpicking the debates surrounding contemporary challenges facing the world today. Geography lessons are taught using a wide range of active learning approaches including personal enquiry, group activities and fieldwork, as well as formal classroom based activities. Geographers develop enquiry, decision making, fieldwork and research skills, which will prepare them well for higher education courses or a wide range of career choices, such as environmental science, consultancy, surveying, town planning, travel and tourism, meteorology, architecture and teaching.
