The L3 Diploma in Health and Social care consists of 4 additional units. This includes 1 externally assessed unit (exam) and 3 internal units (coursework). Additional Units: • Unit 4 – Research Methods (3hr External exam) • Unit 7: Principles of Safe Practice in Health and Social Care (Coursework) • Unit 8: Promoting Public Health (Coursework) Optional Unit in year 2 of the course: • Unit 6: Work Experience: 90 hours placement-based work experience • Unit 19: Nutritional Health (Coursework)
