Course summary

A level of art and design provides learners with a natural progression from GCSE, offering a similar course structure and means of assessment. The course allows learners to tailor their experience of the course to suit their needs and potential career path. It is our aim as a department to facilitate creative thinking through a range of engaging and challenging projects. Year 12: Personal Investigation Year 13: Personal Investigation Set Task Art is a popular A level that allows students to balance their A levels while being able to demonstrate creativity in painting, sculpting, drawing, and more. The prospects are wide for students going onto further study professions such as photography, digital illustration, landscape architecture, or costume design.
