Students with a very keen interest in Mathematics will really enjoy this course which extends and deepens knowledge and understanding beyond the standard A Level Mathematics specification. It introduces new topics, such as matrices and complex numbers, which are vital in many Maths related degrees. It extends the applied topics by studying algorithms that underpin modern technology as well as developing more advanced mechanics.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and a grade 7 or above in Maths. Please note that students must also choose A Level Mathematics to study alongside Further Mathematics.
