Taking A-level Business Studies is a great thing to do if you have aspirations of one day becoming self-employed or in a managerial position. A-level business studies can give you the tools and information required to understand how businesses are created, managed, and become successful. Year 12: An introduction to key business areas: marketing, operations, finance, and human resource management. This includes a special focus on decision-making - particularly how decisions made in one area can affect the rest of the business. Year 13: An investigation of the strategic decisions that all businesses have to make.
Students need to have achieve at least 3 grade 5’s and 2 grade 4’s at GCSE level. English and Maths Grade 5 and above.
For each unit, reading materials are provided along with challenging articles. Staff work closely with the exam board and the students will attend revision sessions hosted by the exam company Tutor2u.
