You will develop your knowledge and understanding in a range of areas through a context lead approach; applying the course content to real-life situations to aid understanding. The course includes 16 core practical which will enable you to develop your experimental skills in line with university requirements.
Circumstances vary from student to student but you will need to have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE passes, at grade 6, including English and Maths, however we would be willing to consider a grade 5 in some subjects, at the discretion of the Academy. A level Physics is a linear qualification; assessments take place at the end of the two year course. The course not only inspires students to think as a physicist, but also enables them to work as scientists.
