Our Photography course involves using creative approaches that go beyond mere observation and recording. You will use photography as a means of personal inquiry and expression, and create artwork using traditional darkroom techniques and digital imaging. At the end of the year we celebrate all work in our end-of-year summer exhibition. You will learn how to use darkroom and digital photographic manipulation and basic studio lighting techniques. You will learn how to investigate the work of other artists and make links with your own personal and creative output, your outcomes will be exciting and often experimental.
Five grades 4-9 (or equivalent) preferably a minimum grade 4 in an Arts subject or a portfolio of creative work.
Coursework = 60% Examination = 40%
