You’ll learn: how to observe children, provide and review care needs, support play and educational opportunities which will enable children to develop through the use of age-appropriate activities, checking children’s learning and development, health, well-being and safety, legislation, safeguarding, curriculum frameworks and professional practice and development. You’ll love: our placement opportunities where you will be able to apply what you have learnt in a real setting working with children from 0-5 years. This course prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
Five GCSE subjects at Grade 4 and above including: o GCSE English Language or Literature at Grade 4 and above or GCSE Maths at Grade 4 and above. o Four other GCSE subjects at Grade 4 and above. Age Criteria: Under 19 Gloucestershire College welcome any other/combinations of relevant qualifications that are comparable and/or equivalent to the typical course entry requirements. Applicants that do not have recognised qualifications may still meet course entry requirements through alternative methods of assessment at the College’s discretion.
