This course is for anyone who has an interest in or wants to progress into a career in health or social care, including nursing, occupational therapy, paramedic, social work, and many, many more. It is also very useful for anyone with an interest in teaching. The course is very broad and covers a range of areas. We are very lucky to have access to some wonderful guest speakers, including ex-students who are now working as nurses in nearby hospitals, occupational therapists, surgeons, mental health nurses, people working on drug trials, and more.
You must have achieved 5 passes including mathematics and English, where a pass is defined as GCSE 9-4 and pass or better at level 2 BTEC.
