Changing Landscapes and Changing places Section A: Changing Landscapes Section B: Changing Places Global Systems and Global Governance Section A: Global Systems (Water and carbon cycles) Section B: Global Governance: Change and Challenges (Global migration and global governance of world’s oceans) Section C: 21st-Century Challenges Contemporary Themes in Geography Section A: Tectonic Hazards Section B: Contemporary Themes Energy Challenges and Dilemmas Weather and Climate The A Level module includes opportunities for candidates to study selected aspects of physical and human geography at greater depth, and to develop their investigative and decision-making skills. Our fieldwork program varies year on year. Each student will spend a minimum of two days collecting primary data in the field for each year of study. Residential visits are organized where possible.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above or equivalent. The main course requirement is an enjoyment of Geography. Grade 6 or above in GCSE Geography is the expected standard. It is also desirable for students to achieve at least a grade 6 in Maths.
1- External Exam 1 hour 45 minutes 20.5% 2- External Exam 2 hours 27.5% 3- External Exam 2 hours 15 minutes 32% 4- Non exam assessment 20%
