The course comprises one compulsory module and a choice of one optional module. The compulsory module includes content on the analysis of data, and the critical evaluation of analysis performed by others. It also includes Fermi estimation (estimating the answers to questions such as “How many toilets are there in London?”) and mathematics for personal finance. For the optional module the class will choose between Statistical Techniques, Critical Path and Risk Analysis or Graphical Techniques. Core Maths is an AS level qualification taken in addition to three A-Levels.
- You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above. You will need at least a grade 5 in GCSE Maths - Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
