If you’re considering one of the many careers working with animals then this course may be for you. This course will enable you to build on your confidence, knowledge and practical skills whilst working with the animals both onsite at college and during completion of your industry work placement within the animal sector with an external employer. During this course you will work with a wide range of animals, including domestic animals, exotic animals and livestock. You will cover an exciting range of subjects allowing you to build on both your knowledge and confidence working with animals.
4 GCSEs at grade 3/D or above and must include English, maths and science.
Your tutor will assess you through written assignments, demonstration of practical work skills and externally set exams. Your tutor will also provide you with feedback to develop your skills and knowledge to industry standards.
