Year 12 Component 1: - Personal Investigation - Practical Investigation supported by written material. - The focus of the investigation must lead to a finished outcome or series of related finished outcomes. Year 13 Component 2: - Externally Set Assignment - A preparatory period followed by a 15 hour exam in which students must produce a finished outcome or a series of finished outcomes. Throughout this course you will have the opportunity to develop the following skills: • Record experiences and observations, in a variety of ways using drawing or other appropriate visual forms. • Undertake research and gather, select and organize visual and other appropriate information. • Explore relevant resources. • Use knowledge and understanding of the work of others to develop and extend thinking and inform work.
