The T Level qualification has been designed by a panel of employers, professional bodies, and education specialists. The purpose of the Level 3 Technical qualification is to ensure that students have the knowledge and skills to progress into skilled employment or higher-level training relevant to the T Level. This qualification is a combination of classroom theory, practical learning, and industry placement (work placement) with an employer. It is for students who want to work as plumbers in the building services engineering sector. Please note that this qualification does not make candidates fully qualified plumbers or plumbing and heating engineers. To become fully qualified you must achieve the Level 3 Apprenticeship. This programme will be delivered in our modern workshops and classrooms, using our fantastic industry standard equipment. We will be focusing on developing your practical skills, underpinning knowledge and professional behaviours ready for assessment. All assessments will be carried out in accordance with awarding body guidelines. To prepare you prior to your assessments, we will build up your skills, knowledge and behaviours to give you the best chance of achieving your potential. We will sequence the curriculum delivery to meet industry needs and work with you through each step to build your confidence. You will be participating in an industry placement throughout your programme.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Sciences and GCSE Maths at grade 5.
