Course summary

Further Mathematics is a qualification that both broadens and deepens the mathematics covered in A Level Mathematics. As with Mathematics A Level, Further Mathematics is divided into pure and applied units. This examination is unusual in that it can only be taken IN ADDITION to A Level Mathematics. Further Mathematics can only be taken alongside Mathematics A Level. It leads perfectly into many maths based degrees, but also is well sort after for applicants going into Physics and Engineering degrees at university.

Entry requirements
