Biologists are scientists who study the natural world and all the living organisms in it, from the largest mammals down to our very own microscopic DNA. They try to understand how animals and organisms work (including us humans), how we evolved, and the mechanisms that can make us sick or improve our health. Studying Biology at A Level will increase the breadth and depth of your understanding of a wide range of topic areas to prepare you for further study or a career in Biology. It can also support other subjects such as Sports, Psychology, Maths, and Chemistry as there are many links between these subjects. It will develop and demonstrate a wide range of skills that are important to employers.
