This course involves the study of The Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. This course provides a coherent and thought-provoking programme of study. Students develop their understanding and appreciation of religious beliefs and teachings, as well as the disciplines of ethics and the philosophy of religion. As well as acquiring a wide knowledge base and sound understanding of ethical theory and Philosophy, students develop skills of analysis and evaluation and the ability to communicate clear, concise and logical arguments supported by relevant evidence.
Students must achieve 5 qualifications at Grade 4 or above to return to 6th Form at PCHS.
In total four modules are completed, which make up the 2 major components of the course. These will be assessed through 2 examinations at the end of the course.
