A-level Business Studies aims to develop the characteristics students would need to develop to be successful in business. This includes activities that students may be involved in if they were to set up and manage a business whether small, medium-sized or large. The course will equip you with valuable skills that you can use at University, to enter the world of work or become an entrepreneur in your own right. A Level Themes: 3. Business decisions and strategy: Business objectives and strategy, business growth, decision-making techniques, influences on business decisions, assessing competitiveness, and managing change. 4. Global business: Globalization, global markets, business expansion, global marketing, global industries, and companies (multinational corporations).
The minimum entry requirement for any level 3 course is GCSE English Language at 4 or above with 4 other GCSEs or equivalent at 4 or above.
Paper 1 exam (Marketing, people and global business). Paper 2 exam (Business activities, decisions and strategy). Paper 3 exam (Investigating business in a competitive environment).
