The course is for students interested in learning about the health and social care sector. The course will give students an insight into a range of health and social care areas including Human Lifespan Development; Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs; Working in Health and Social Care and Psychology perspectives.
Minimum of 5 grade 4 at GCSE or equivalent. Grade 4 or equivalent in your chosen study subject is preferred.
The BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care is equivalent to two A levels over two years. This consists of six mandatory units and two optional units. Units are internally and externally assessed. Assessment methods include assignment, exams and synoptic research task. Each unit within the qualification has specified assessment and grading criteria.
