A Level Maths: This consists of three modules: Pure Mathematics1, Pure Mathematics 2 and the applied module, which covers Mechanics and Statistics.

AS Maths: There are two exams, sat in the summer of year 12. The Pure mathematics has double weighting as compared to the Mechanics/Statistics, worth 67% of the overall mark. A-Level Maths: There are three exams, Pure Mathematics1, Pure Mathematics 2 and one covering the applied topics of Mechanics and Statistics, sat in the summer of year 13, each with equal weighting. The AS grade does not count towards the A-Level grade.
