Medical imaging, digital music, transport systems, mobile devices and telecommunications are just some examples of these changes. Areas of study include waves, quantum physics, electricity, forces and motion, astronomy and particle physics. The subject involves a variety of activities including laboratory experiments, demonstrations, software-based activities and numerical problems.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English Language, a grade 5 in Physics or grade 6 in Additional Science, and a grade 6 in Maths. A Level Physics students must also take A Level Maths because an aptitude for maths is essential for success in physics. This course is for school leavers.
