LRGS is unusual (particularly in the North West) in offering both Latin and Ancient Greek to A-level. Teaching groups are of a size to make a discursive approach ideal and everyone is expected to contribute to lessons. If you can think, reason, analyse, compare, argue, justify, defend, criticise, ask, answer, listen and remember you will enjoy Latin/Greek lessons and learn a huge amount from them.
- 6 GCSE's Grade 6 and above - At least six grade 6s or better in the GCSE examinations plus a minimum of grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics.
