This course is designed to prepare you for employment in Business and provide you with a sound overview of working within a business environment. The Cambridge Technical provides opportunities to develop skills demanded by employers. You will learn about the business environment, business resources and different aspects of business, such as marketing and communication.
You need five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, which must include English and Maths at Grade 4 or better (Previously, A* to C). Progression internally will be dependent on grades achieved, Course Leader feedback and an attendance record above 90%.
Assessment Assessment will be carried out by externally set and externally marked exams and by completion of coursework assignments. The coursework units of study are internally assessed by course tutors and reviewed by Doncaster College quality assurance staff, as well as being externally assessed by OCR Visiting Moderators.
