Minimum level 5 in five separate subjects at GCSE including English and Mathematics Students are expected to achieve a minimum of grade 5 or above at GCSE to be considered for A Level and BTEC courses.
• In Unit 1 learners will be assessed through one examination of 90 marks lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. • In Unit 2 learners will be assessed through one examination of 80 marks lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. • In Unit 6 and 12 learners will be assessed through completing a series of assignments that will be marked and assessed internally.
