This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills that will prepare you for either employment or higher education. Learners will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge which will promote opportunities for careers in the hair and beauty sector. Following this course will enable you to explore your creative ability using styling and colouring techniques and improve your communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
Standard entry requirements. Individual discussions for students who do not meet the standard entry requirements are welcomed. (Maths and English resit considered). - Five GCSE subjects at a minimum grade 4 or the equivalent including Maths and English.
Learners will need to be committed and have the motivation to work salon hours to meet the different assessment requirements.
