Unit 1 – Building positive relationships in health and social care Unit 2 - This unit will help students to understand the implications of diversity on practice and also the effects of discriminatory practice on individuals who require care or support Unit 3 - This unit introduces students to health, safety, and security in health and social care Unit 4- Anatomy and physiology for healthcare In their second year students will undertake another 2 pieces of coursework.
Students who achieve 40 points or more are guaranteed a place on a mixed program ie a program that combines one or more level 3 vocational courses plus a maximum of two A-Levels.
Both health studies courses are assessed via coursework and external exams across the 2 years of study.
