Level 5 in five separate subjects at GCSE including English, and a 6 in Mathematics and Chemistry. Students are expected to achieve a minimum of grade 5 or above at GCSE to be considered for A Level and BTEC courses.
There are 3 exams which will each assess various content from all topics as well as relevant practical skills. Paper 1 covers; Relevant physical chemistry topics, Inorganic Chemistry and Relevant practical skills. Assessment is out of 105 marks (35%/2 hrs) Paper 2 covers; Relevant Physical chemistry topics, Organic Chemistry, Relevant Practical skills. Assessment is out of 105 marks (35%/2 hrs) Paper 3 covers; All content and all practical skills. Assessment is out of 90 marks (30%/2 hrs)
