This course is for people who like to use a range of skills and are interested in the world. Geographers are statistically the most easily employed group of students so this is a great course to prepare yong people for the future world of work. Over the two years students study a variety of human and physical topics including: Coasts, Tectonics, Water and Carbon cycles, Changing Places, Global Governance and 21st Century Challenges. Also there is a fieldwork element and students will go on organised field trips which can be over a few days in a field centre.
5 GSCEs at grade 9-4 (A-C) including Maths and/or English at grade 4 or equivalent.
