The course covers pure Mathematics, and statistics and is a challenging and highly rewarding subject to study. It opens doors to careers such as medicine, engineering, finance, various sciences, computing, economics, psychology and more. However, it should not be forgotten as a standalone subject, with the call for career mathematicians increasing rapidly, especially in the age of big data and the internet.
