Course summary

Geography is the study of the world we live in, its environments, landscapes and natural disasters, and the relationship between people and environments. Geography is a unique subject because it looks at both the physical characteristics of the planet and the social characteristics which tells us how we affect our environment and how the environment affects us.

Entry requirements

Level 5 or above at GCSE in both Geography and English.

Component I (physical): 2 hour 30 minute exam worth 40% Component 2 (human): 2 hour 30 minute exam worth 40% Component 3 (Non Examined Assessment): An individual research project 3,000-4,000 words in length. Worth 20%
