Course summary

Economics is truly all around us, present in almost every aspect of our lives. It is the study of the allocation of scarce resources. So if you are inquisitive about the world around you, for instance, why do footballers get paid so much money? Or what causes poverty in the world or why Apple has been so successful then this is for you. Economics is a highly regarded subject with many post A-Level opportunities in both higher education (degrees) and employment, e.g. banking and finance, in addition to post-degree employment in both the private and public sectors.
