Course summary

This course is designed to equip you with a wide range of IT skills so that you can adapt to the frequent changes in the world of computing. There are two routes available: Networking Route Do you want to control and administer networks? Then learn the ins and outs of network systems on the exciting Networking program, where we’ll teach you all the fundamentals that are required in this growing business sector, including management, networking, security, operating systems, scripting, and case management. Software Engineering and Programming Route If your ambition is to work at the forefront of software industries, then this course will set you on the right path. You will focus on developing programming skills through units in software design and development, event-driven programming, object-oriented programming, and computer platforms and technologies.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4 or above. Must include a grade 4 in English.
