Physical education is a pathway to PE, exercise, leisure and sport courses at university. It can also prepare you for a choice of interesting and worthwhile careers in the sport, leisure and fitness industry. At A Level 70% of the course is theoretical and only 30% is awarded for practical ability, a significant difference from GCSE presenting a challenging and engaging path of study.
- Ideally Grade 4 in GCSE PE - A minimum of 5A*- C grades / grade 4s at GCSE Level across 4 different subject areas; this should include a Grade 4 for English Language and Mathematics.
