You will cover several units to provide you with the skills and knowledge for working in a variety of different roles in the health and social care industries including: Equality and Diversity Safeguarding Infection Prevention and Control Working in Health and Social Care Anatomy and Physiology Psychology You will also develop skills such as: Collaborative working Communication skills Presentation skills Time management skills Problem Solving skills. Courses are delivered using a range of methods including classroom based exercises, in the workplace or online study. Some Careers available to you on completion of the course include: • Care Support Workers in adult residential settings • Healthcare Assistants in community, primary care and acute health environments. • Care Support Workers in domiciliary services, supported living or day services. • Community-based Support Workers
To enrol onto the level 3 Health and Social Care course you need four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent). These must include English Language and maths.
